Global Brewery Equipment Market to be worth $24 billion by 2025, says report

According to MarketsandMarkets, it is estimated that by 2025 the brewery equipment market will have grown by more than 6%, increasing from the current value of $16.8 billion to $24.0 billion dollars.

According to the report, the increase in the number of microbreweries, as well as the increase in demand for craft beers are the key factors that explain the increase in such demand.

The agency also estimates that fermentation equipment will be the products with the highest demand in 2019. The reason, explains the agency, is due to the fact that during the fermentation process, the wort that is kept for days or even weeks in the tanks becomes acid, increasing the chances of deterioration of the equipment. In addition, since the fermentation process is slow and takes several days, in order to produce more batches it is always necessary to have tanks available when necessary.

Lastly, the agency points out that microbreweries will have a bigger growth than traditional breweries in the next five years. The reason for this is simple, the consumer is becoming more and more inclined to buy beers based on their quality instead of their quantity.
